中国通信工业协会物联网应用分会是2012年10月经中华人民共和国工业和信息化部批准、并经国家民政部注册登记（民社登[2012]第6323号）的全国性社团组织，是中国通信工业协会的直属社团分支机构（社证字第4229-3号），是国内首家通过审批的国家级物联网行业社会团体组织。

中国通信工业协会物联网应用分会的宗旨是联合国内外致力于物联网产业发展与应用推广、从事相关信息建设服务的政产学研用单位及个体，在平等互利、优势互补、资源共享、合作共赢的原则下开展协会活动；分会的职责是推动物联网技术产品的自主创新与科学发展，促进物联网技术与产品在智慧城市以及垂直行业领域的规模应用；分会的服务项目主要有：课题研究、政府咨询、基金申报、项目规划、项目评估、标准研制、行业报告、技术培训、检测认证、投资融资、会议会展、会员服务等。

分会以协同创新、产用结合、融合发展为基础，以立足行业、服务产业、促进应用为目标，携手会员单位为建设物联网新技术、新产品、新设备、新模式、新应用的产业发展新格局贡献力量。

China Communications Industry Association, Internet of Things Applications Branch was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China in October 2012 and was registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.(Shedeng [2012] No. 6323) is a national society organization directly under the China Communications Industry Association (Society No. 4229-3), and is the first national-level Internet of Things industry social organization that has passed the approval  organize.

The purpose of the Internet of Things Application Branch of China Communications Industry Association is to unite with domestic and foreign government, industry, university and research units and individuals that are committed to the development and application of the Internet of Things industry and engaged in related information construction services to achieve equality and mutual benefit, complementary advantages, resource sharing, and win-win cooperation  The association’s activities are carried out under the principle of the principle; the responsibility of the branch is to promote the independent innovation and scientific development of Internet of Things technology products, and to promote the large-scale application of Internet of Things technology and products in smart cities and vertical industries; the service projects of the branch mainly include: subject research,  Government consulting, fund application, project planning, project evaluation, standard development, industry reports, technical training, testing and certification, investment financing, conferences and exhibitions, membership services, etc.

The branch is based on collaborative innovation, integration of production and use, and integrated development, with the goal of establishing a foothold in the industry, serving the industry, and promoting applications, and joins hands with member units to build the industrial development of new technologies, new products, new equipment, new models, and new applications of the Internet of Things  Contribute to the new pattern.
