宁波工业互联网研究院系列项目于2018年5月12日正式入驻宁波市海曙区,并于2019年12月24日启动工业互联网产业园项目(甬水桥科创中心)建设,用地面积约3.9万平方米,2022年底竣工投用。作为一家主攻工业互联网、智能制造、人工智能等前沿领域的新型研发机构,研究院致力于推动国家工业转型发展、重大关键核心技术的创新突破和技术成果转化,目前已成功孵化浙江蓝卓、国利网安、芯然科技、畅达智联、坤铜高新等多家高科技公司,已集聚各类高科技等人才600余名,其中硕博比例30%以上;已建成“攻防评一体化”工控安全试验场,成为引领国内工控安全的重要基地,工控安全产品已成功应用于30余项科研攻关和国家事大基础设备安全防护项目。2020年研究院入选首批“浙江省省级新型研发机构”,荣获宁波市“六争攻坚、三年攀高”行动先进集体;2021年研究院牵头建设的“浙江省智能工厂操作系统技术创新中心”入选浙江省级首批技术创新中心;2022年8月,入选首批“科创中国”创新基地，2022年10月，获批建设智能制造国家新一代人工智能开放创新平台。

The series of projects of Ningbo Industrial Internet Research Institute were officially settled in Haishu District of Ningbo City on May 12, 2018, and the construction of the Industrial Internet Industrial Park project (Yongshuiqiao Science and Technology Innovation Center) was started on December 24, 2019, with a land area of about 39000 square meters, which will be completed and put into use by the end of 2022.

As a new research and development institution specializing in cutting-edge fields such as industrial internet, intelligent manufacturing, and artificial intelligence, the research institute is committed to promoting the transformation and development of national industry, innovative breakthroughs in major key core technologies, and the transformation of technological achievements. Currently, it has successfully incubated multiple high-tech companies such as Zhejiang Lanzhuo, National Cybersecurity, Xinran Technology, Changzhilian, and Kuntong High tech, and has gathered more than 600 talents in various high-tech fields, The proportion of master's and doctoral programs is over 30%; The "Integrated Attack and Defense Assessment" industrial control safety testing ground has been established, becoming an important venue for leading domestic industrial control safety. Industrial control safety products have been successfully applied in more than 30 scientific research projects and national major basic equipment safety protection projects. In 2020, the research institute was selected as one of the first batch of "provincial-level new research and development institutions in Zhejiang Province" and was awarded the Advanced Collective of Ningbo City's "Six Struggles and Three Years of Climbing High" action; The Zhejiang Intelligent Factory Operating System Technology Innovation Center led by the research institute in 2021 was selected as one of the first batch of provincial technology innovation centers in Zhejiang; In August 2020, selected as one of the first batch of scientific and technological innovation bases in China.
